A couple of weeks ago my wife Jo and I had a lovely week visiting her brother’s family in the Dordogne. We were treated to a bit of a busman’s holiday when we walked up the road to the local eventing course where they had a show on. I guess it doesn’t matter where you go, put young people and horses together and they just have great fun. The course is a bit different as are the classes. The weather is a bit different as are the clothes they wear but they are competitive, they have a great time and they are proud of what they do.
